My Summer

This summer should be amazingly fun! I plan on going to Port Aransas this summer with one of my best friends, Katie. We are going to be staying down at the coast for about a week, hanging out, swimming, and enjoying the beach! I love watching the sun rise from the beach, warming the sand and water. The cool breeze adds the perfect touch to a warm sunny day. Listening to the sea gulls, and smelling the salty air is what I look forward to. Usually when we go down to Port Aransas we end up spending almost all our time walking up and down the beautiful beach, squishing the sand between our toes. Then we'll go ride our bikes around. After riding our bikes, we'll go swimming in the pool to cool off. The restaurants we have enjoyed there before are Trout Street Bar and Grill, Pelican's Landing, and Marcel's. One week after school is out I will be going to my church camp. The camp will last for one week, starting Monday going through Saturday. The church camp I'm going to is in Alto Frio. At camp we can swim in the river or the pool. There are also many activities we do, like playing volleyball and many other games. Another thing I plan on doing is going to Schlitterbahn all summer long. I enjoy going there with my friends and cousins. I will also be playing volleyball in our school's summer league. This summer in volleyball I will be playing against highschoolers instead of middleschoolers so it will be a big change for me. I will be playing volleyball for the whole month of June. That's about all the things I will be doing this summer, but the one thing I look forward to the most is spending time with my friends and being able to sleep in!

Strong Tower

Right now this song has been an encouragement for me. It reminds me that even though I may be wandering in a "desert" or "longing for my home" God is always there for me to run to Him. He is always waiting with opened arms, outstretched toward me. We may all have our dreams and things we want to do in life, but God always has something better. We can't even imagine the wonderful things he has planned out for us! We may also have some of those days where we feel like we're alone or too tired to carry on but God will always pick us up and strengthen us! When we lose our way and our path isn't straight, we always can find our way back to God. Even when darkness comes into our lives God will free us. We all have our own fears and concerns, but take refuge in the Lord. When life is at its worst point and seems impossible to conquer remember God. He is always there when we turn around to come back to Him. His mercy truly does set us free from all the wrong things we have done. He forgives us each and every time. His love for us is unconditional. He loves us the way we are, rich, poor, saved, or unsaved. He loves us all. He wants us to do His will because it is the best way to live our life to the fullest potential. That is why he is my strong tower. He shelters me. He is beautiful and mighty. He is omniscient. He is my everlasting King. My fortress when I am weak. His name is true and holy. His face is all I seek.

One Day To Do Whatever

If I had one day to do whatever I wanted, I would wake up and climb into my yellow Porsche 911 Turbo and head off to the airport to meet all my friends. We soon later boarded my private jet and headed toward the Bahamas. When the plane got closer to the Bahamas, we sky dived and landed next to my yacht. We set sail on my yacht and climbed the rock wall while we waited for the jet skis to be brought out. We rode the jet skis around the islands for a while but soon ran out of gas. The dock we pulled up to was right next to a five story mall. We all decided to go in and shop. As soon as we walked in lights and buzzers went off. We stood frozen, not knowing what to do. The manager ran up to us congratulating me, telling me I was the 1,000,000,000 person to enter the mall and I had just won a two hour shopping spree. I could get anything I wanted in the entire mall for two hours! My friends and I were running around the mall like crazy the entire time, grabbing as many things we could carry in our arms at one time. The two hours were finally up and it took a couple trips to my yacht to get everything in. Once we got everything put away we got ready to go water skiing. We water skied for a while but soon went to the beach and played volleyball. We were about to start a new game of volleyball when Kerri Walsh and Misty May come up to us, asking if we minded if they played with us. Without hesitation we eagerly accepted. It was also no big surprise that they beat us. We didn't care that we had lost to Olympic Champions, it was just the opportunity to even meet them that we enjoyed. They soon left, leaving us in awe. We walked up the beach to a five star restaurant and sat down at our already reserved table. We ordered and ate some of the finest foods like shrimp, steak, and lobster. For dessert we ordered every item on the menu that had to do with dessert. Trays of cakes, mints, and ice cream covered our table. After we had stuffed ourselves, we returned to my yacht and awaited my helicopter to come land on the yacht. We were then taken by helicopter to one of my five star hotels to spend the rest of the week in paradise.

I think I am done with messing around with the backgrounds and pics and stuff, maybe not though. : ) Whatcha think of it? It took me forever to figure out how to add stuff and put everything together! I had a lot of fun with this but it was a little complicated.
